Kovetz Yesodot VaChakirot (״A Collection of Foundations and Deliberations״) is a 21st-century encyclopedic work by Rav Achikam Keshet of Jerusalem. The book lists approximately 1,500 talmudic concepts and notes each concept’s origins, its reasoning, and theoretical frameworks that talmudic commentators employed in analyzing the concept. The author explains that his main goal was to offer students an organized foundation of talmudic concepts, thereby enabling them to make their own connections between ideas and suggest novel ways of understanding the talmudic text.
