About This Text
Composed: c.1670 – c.1710 CE
Rabbi Naftali ben Shimon Hertz Ginzburg’s commentary on the Haggadah (Poland, end of the 17th Century) employs the classic learning style of pilpul; raising questions and answering them through extensive analysis of classical texts. In his commentary, Rabbi Ginzburg compares the Garden of Eden with the Exodus from Egypt.
