Niddah (“Woman who is Menstruating”) is a tractate in Seder Taharot (“Order of Purities”) that discusses the ritual impurity of a woman in her menstrual cycle or experiencing particular discharges and the accompanying prohibition of intercourse. Its ten chapters address details such as the status of blood stains, hymenal bleeding, and blood from an internal wound.
