Written by Rabbi Chananel ben Chushiel, known as Rabbeinu Chananel, this commentary on the Chumash is cited by many later Torah commentators, most notably Rabbi Bahya ben Asher. Rabbeinu Chananel directs some of his comments against the Karaites.
