Sefer HaHiggayon is an 18th-century work on logic by Rabbi Moses Chaim Luzzatto, known also by the Hebrew acronym Ramchal. In his introduction, the author extols the influence of human influence in the creative process and notes that he took many ideas from earlier works. The book demonstrates influence from Aristotle’s Organon, Maimonides’ Millot HaHiggayon, and other works of medieval Jewish thinkers including Joseph Kaspi, Ralbag, and Moses of Narbonne. It was published posthumously by a descendant of the author.
