א. עַל־יְדֵי הַטִּלְטוּל זוֹכִין לְשֵׁם טוֹב. Wandering from place to place earns one a good name.
ב. עַל־פִּי רב הַיְרֵאִים – פַּרְנָסָתָם בָּא עַל־יְדֵי טִלְטוּלִים. In general, the livelihood of God-fearing people comes as a result of their wandering and moving from place to place.
ג. לִפְעָמִים הַצַּדִּיק בָּא לְטִלְטוּלִים, כְּדֵי שֶׁיָּבוֹא לָעוֹלָם הַבָּא וְיִזְכּר כָּל הַמְּקוֹמוֹת שֶׁהָיָה בָּהֶם, וְעַל־יְדֵי זֶה יָבוֹאוּ טוֹבוֹת לְאֵלּוּ הַמְּקוֹמוֹת. There are times when a Tzaddik must wander from place to place so that he can later recall all of these places when he enters the World to Come; bringing them benefit by doing so.
ד. לָאו בְּכָל מָקוֹם אָדָם זוֹכֶה לְסַגֵּל תּוֹרָה וּמַעֲשִׂים טוֹבִים. בִּשְׁבִיל זֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ־בָּרוּךְ־הוּא מְסַבֵּב סִבּוּבִים, שֶׁיֵּצֵא זֶה הָאָדָם מִמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה לְמָקוֹם אַחֵר. Not all places are conducive for studying Torah and performing good deeds. Because of this, God brings about circumstances that cause a person to leave one’s place and go elsewhere.
ה. לִפְעָמִים נִתְחַיֵּב אָדָם אֵיזֶהוּ גָּלוּת וְנִתְחַלֵּף לוֹ עַל אֵיזֶהוּ חוֹלַאַת. There are times when a person’s sins require that he suffer some form of exile, but instead [of wandering from place to place] he is beset by illness.
