Written by Bezalel ben Abraham Ashkenazi (c.1520 – c.1592), Shita Mekubetzet is a collection of glosses on the Talmud. Shita Mekubetzet on Berakhot, however, is actually the commentary of the Ritva (Rabbi Yom Tov ben Avraham Assevilli, c.1260-c.1320).
