Responsa of R' Asher ben Yechiel to inquiries received from Jewish communities in Germany, Provence and North Africa. After the death of Rashba, inquiries were received from Spain as well. The responsa of the Rosh, unlike the responsa of the other Rishonim, are arranged in a unique format; according to topics (called "Klal"), under which a number of responsa were collected on the same subject, even when written to different questioners.
