Torah Ohr is the first part of a 19th-century compilation of sermons by the first rebbe of the Chabad chasidic movement, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi. Covering the books of Genesis, Exodus, and Esther, the work consists of biblical interpretation based in kabbalistic and chasidic teachings. Torah Ohr was published by Rabbi Shneur Zalman’s grandson, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, the third rebbe of the Chabad movement.
