It was taught in the Beis Midrash of Eliyahu: This world will be for 6,000 years. 2,000 years of nothingness, 2,000 years of Torah, 2,000 years of Yemos HaMoshiach!

We are in the current year 5775. Only 225 more years max!!!! No later than 2240 in the gregorian Calendar... Get PUMPED!!!!

(8) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (9) Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; (10) but the seventh day is a sabbath for the Lord your God, in it you shall not do any manner of work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within thy gates; (11) for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

(4) For a thousand years in Your sight are but as a day when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Vilna Gaon (The Gra): Safra D'Tzniusa Ch. 5

Each day of Creation alludes to a thousand years of our existence, and every little detail that occurred on these days will have its corresponding event happen at the proportionate time during its millennium.

Pirkei D'Rebbe Eliezer

Six eons [long period of time] for going in and coming out, for war and peace. The seventh eon is entirely Shabbat and rest for life everlasting.

Zohar, Vayera 119a

The redemption of Israel will come about through the mystic force of the letter “Vav” [which has the numerical value of six], namely, in the sixth millennium…. Happy are those who will be left alive at the end of the sixth millennium to enter the Shabbat, which is the seventh millennium; for that is a day set apart for the Holy One on which to effect the union of new souls with old souls in the world.

Awaiting the Moshiach

Rava said, "On the day you enter into judgment you will be asked these six questions:

1. Did you deal with people faithfully?

2. Did you fix time for study?

3. Did you engage in procreation?

4. Did you hope for salvation?

5. Were your arguments for the sake of heaven?

6. Did you seek deeper meaning in life?

... 12) I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Moshiach, and even though he may tarry, with all this I will wait for him every day that shall come.

13) I believe with perfect faith that there will be a resurrection of the dead at a time which shall arise in the Will of the Creator whose Name is blessed, and consciousness of Him will arise forever and ever.

(12) And He will make a miracle for the nations, And will assemble the dispersed of Israel, And gather together the scattered of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

In that era, there will be neither famine or war, envy or competition for good will flow in abundance and all the delights will be freely available as dust. The occupation of the entire world will be solely to know God.

Therefore, the Jews will be great sages and know the hidden matters, grasping the knowledge of their Creator according to the full extent of human potential, as Isaiah 11:9 states: 'The world will be filled with the knowledge of God as the waters cover the ocean bed."

Song

In the hour that the the King Messiah comes, he stands on the roof of the Temple, makes himself heard to all of Israel and says:
"Humble ones, humble ones, the time of your redemption has arrived, and if you do not believe this, look at my light that is shining."

Gog U'Magog

Ezeziel 38-39

Talks about Gog U'Magog

Zohar Parashas Va'era 32a

The children of Ishmael are destined to provoke great wars in the world. The children of Edom will gather together against them and challenge them. There will be one war on the sea, one on land, and one in the vicinity of Jerusalem. They [i.e. the children of Edom and the children of Ishamel] will alternate in dominating one another. But the Holy Land will not be given to the children of Edom.

Vilna Gaon

The last war, Milchemet Gog uMagog, is going to last only 12 minutes because they are going to have such weapons....

Construction of The Third Temple

Rashi on Sukkah 41a -

We know the Beis HaMikdash can't be made at night, so how can the Gemara say that it will? Rashi answers that it won't be constructed by us, it will already be constructed by Hashem in heaven and it will descend at the appropriate time.

Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings and Wars 11:1, 4

In the future, the Messianic king will arise and renew the Davidic dynasty, restoring it to its initial sovereignty. He will build the Temple and gather the dispersed of Israel.

Tzur Mishelo

The Temple will be rebuilt; the City of Zion will be restored
And there we will sing a new song and journey up
The Merciful and the Sanctified One will be blessed and exalted
Over a full glass of wine, according to God’s blessing

The Resurrection of the Dead

(1) All Jews have a share in the World to Come, as it says, (Isaiah 60:21), “Thy people are all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.”

These have no share in the World to Come: One who says that [the belief of] resurrection of the dead is not from the Torah, [one who says that] that the Torah is not from Heaven, and an Apikoros...

“And G’d said: ‘I will wipe away mankind’... Hadrian was [once] grinding bones. He asked Rabbi Yehoshua ben Chananyah: ‘From where does the Holy One Blessed be He reconstruct man in the future to come?’ He answered him: ‘From [the] Luz of the spine.’ Said he: ‘From where do you know this?’. He said: ‘It has come to me [it was delivered to me as a tradition] and I will show you.’ They tried to grind it in a mill but it was not ground, they burnt it in fire but it was not consumed, they put it in water but it was not softened, they put it on an anvil and he started to beat it with a hammer but the anvil slipped, the hammer was broken and it remained intact.”

...And the Kadmonim said that man has one bone that is part of him. And this bone exists in the grave until the resurrection. And even after all the bones decompose, this bone doesn't because it is nourished from eating the meal of Melave Malke...

The Doggy Bag

To merit the World to Come, we must await the Moshiach all the days of our life and we must believe in Techiyas HaMeisim. It will be a time of peace, prosperity, and happiness.

Three times a day we say the Shemoneh Esreh. Many of the brachos we say are concerned with the End of Days and Yemot HaMoshiach. Look for which ones are related. Hopefully we will find new meaning.

How We Bring Moshiach

A friend of mine's grandmother grew up with her family in Poland. When it was time to flee from the Nazis, they packed their belongings and went on their way. They traveled and eventually settled in France. With time, their family eventually became involved in the community, and gained much popularity amongst the locals. They were once invited to a party of some good friends in the neighborhood. These parties weren't your average get together, but were rather quite upscale and classy. At these kind of parties, each guest is expected to share something, whether that be a poem, a musical piece, some talent. When it was my friend's grandmother's turn, she stood up, and slowly made her way to the front of the room. She started to sing. It was a sad song. A song that she learned growing up. It was a Yiddish song about the coming of Moshiach. She sang a story about Hashem. That Hashem sits in his beautiful palace upon his golden throne. And on His armrest lays a large goblet. Every time Am Yisrael suffers or sheds a tear, the cup receives another drop. Slowly by slowly, Hashem sits and watches this goblet fill. And when the cup overflows, it will be time for the Moshiach to come. At the end of the song she sings in a sad tone, "when will the cup overflow? when will the cup overflow?"

Many years later my friend's grandmother and her family have made their way to America. It was one clear day that her father and her went for a walk to a lake. As they found a bench beside the water, he leans over and reminds her about the song she sang all those years ago. He said, "you don't know, but I never taught you the second half of that song. The story is not over; there is yet another cup. On the other armrest there sits another large goblet. Hashem watches this goblet as it is filled with not the suffering and tears but with all of the maasim tovim, and goodness of Am Yisrael. And if we do enough good, and that goblet overflows, the Moshiach will come." He said to her, "Which cup will be? The suffering or goodness?"

Her father threw a rock into the water and they watched the ripples disseminate. "Each Mitzvah we do spreads like the ripples just did. They effect the water around it and cover the surface of the lake."
