Interesting Fact
We use the name, Hamakom (המקום) when we comfort a mourner during shiva.
It is traditional to say:
הַמָּקוֹם יְנַחֵם אֶתְכֶם בְּתוֹךְ אֲבֵלֵי צִיּוֹן וִירוּשָׁלַיִם
May God comfort you among the rest of the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem

A special food is eaten on Purim. There are many explanations of what the food represents - it even has different names in different languages! One idea for the food, and others traditionally eaten on Purim, is that it is hiding something inside of it, just like all of the hidden things in the story of Purim. Find the verse at the end of the Purim story that explains the tradition of sending gifts, which often include the special Purim treat, to our friends.
