About R' Tzadok HaKohen
Reb Tzadok HaKohen Rabinowitz (1823-1900) was a talmudist, thinker, kabbalist, and one of the most prolific chasidic writers. He came from an anti-chasidic background, but became a disciple of the Izhbitzer and ultimately a leader of a group of chasidim in Lublin, Poland. His works were written as private notebooks and were all published posthumously.
