Rabbi Yose b. Chanina

R. Yose b. Chanina was a prominent judge and is frequently cited in the Talmud Yerushalmi. He was one of R. Yochanan's most important students and eventually became one of his colleagues. Appearing in Rabbi Zeira's dream, he reported that his place in the upper realms was directly next to his teacher (Bava Metzia 85b).
