    — Hiph. - הִלְעִיב he jested, mocked (a hapax legomenon in the Bible, occurring Chron. II 36:16 in the form מַלֽעִיבִים).
    — Hoph. - הֻלְעַב was mocked. [Aram. לְעַב (= he jested, mocked), Syr. אֶתְלַעַב (= he delighted in, was eager), Arab. la’iba (= he played, sported, jested).] Derivatives: לַעַב, הַלְעָבָה.
