Ya’arot Devash is an 18th-century collection of sermons on ethical matters delivered by Rabbi Yonatan Eybeschutz while he served as rabbi in Metz and later of Altona, Hamburg, and Wandsbek. The sermons draw on a range of Jewish sources and often rebuke lax observation of Jewish law. Ya’arot Devash was published posthumously and was widely accepted and occasionally cited as a source of Jewish law.
