Friend,    With Purim right around the corner, Sefaria is busy preparing for the “Purim bump” — the increase in users who visit Sefaria to celebrate the holiday. Last year, more than 100,000 people visited the library or used the app to connect with the holiday or read along with Megillat Esther. This year we’re expecting even more.    To help with our text and tech preparations ahead of this busy time, a generous Jewish foundation is matching all gifts to the library up to $36,000.    Please give today to help us meet your learning needs!

All who would enter the temple mount entered toward the right, and would encircle it and exit through the left, aside for one to which something [unfavorable] has occurred, that he would encircle it towards the left [even when he entered]. [If he was asked] "Why are you encircling towards the left?" [If he answered] "Because I am a mourner, [they would respond] "He who rests in this house should comfort you". [If he answered] "Because I am excommunicated", [they would respond] "He who dwells in this house should put into their [the judges'] hearts and they will draw you near". These are the words of Rabbi Meir. Rabbi Yosi said to him [Rabbi Meir] "You have made as if they [the judges] have exceeded the law [in their excommunication] against him. Rather [they would say] "He who dwells in this house should put into your heart that you will listen to the words of your colleagues and they will draw you near".

Listen, o Israel, Ad-nai is your E-lohim, Ad-nai is unique.

In lower voice: Blessed be the Name of God's kingdom forever and ever.

You shall love Ad-onai Your E-lohim, with all your heart, with all your soul,

and with all your being. And these words which I command you on this day, shall be upon your heart. And you shall teach them thoroughly to your children, and speak of them, and while sitting in your house, and while walking along the way, upon lying down and upon rising. And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and your gates.

May the great Name of Adonai be exulted and hallowed throughout the world created by the will of the One. May Your sovereignty be accepted soon, in our days and in the days of the family of Israel.
Let us all respond: Amen.
May the great Name of Adonai be praised forever and ever.
Praised and celebrated, lauded and worshipped, acclaimed and honoured, exalted and extolled be the Name of the Holy One, praised be the One! Whose praiseworthiness is beyond any praise or song, any honour or consolation that may be uttered in this world.
Let us all respond: Amen.
May great peace from heaven and the gift of life be granted to us and to all the family of Israel.
Let us all respond: Amen.
