The Rosh Hashanah liturgy was written to help us get into the spirit of the day. In this scavenger hunt, we will travel through the Rosh Hashanah Machzor (prayer book) discovering the original sources of the text in order to understand the message of the day.
To find the answers:
Read the clue for something to find related to the Machzor. Although Sefaria hosts 3 versions of the Machzor, for the purposes of this scavenger hunt, all of the answers will be found in the Machzor Rosh Hashanah Ashkenaz.
Search the Machzor to find the answer.
When you find the answer, click on the text to open the resource panel and click on "Sheets".
Scroll down to find a sheet with the title "Journeying Through the Machzor". This sheet will contain the next clue.
