Genesis 2:4 uses the Tanach's first of only two perfected spellings of the word תוֹלְד֧וֹת with two vav's - in the entire 24 books.
(ד) אֵ֣לֶּה תוֹלְד֧וֹת הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם וְהָאָ֖רֶץ בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם בְּי֗וֹם עֲשׂ֛וֹת יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃
(4) The generations of heaven and earth were created (for) or with the הִ (little ה) on the day the LORD God made earth and heaven

(2:4) includes the Bible's first use of The Name - יְהוָ֥ה Hashem. It suggests earth and heaven were a creation for a special soul, alluded in the small 'הִ' heh of the word בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם (b'hibaram). Here, the sub-script 'heh' reflects it's form as it is written in a kosher Torah scroll.
(ט) אֵ֚לֶּה תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת נֹ֔חַ נֹ֗חַ אִ֥ישׁ צַדִּ֛יק תָּמִ֥ים הָיָ֖ה בְּדֹֽרֹתָ֑יו אֶת־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים הִֽתְהַלֶּךְ־נֹֽחַ׃
(9) These are the generations of Noah.—Noah was a righteous man; he was blameless in his age; Noah walked with God.—
(יט) וְאֵ֛לֶּה תּוֹלְדֹ֥ת יִצְחָ֖ק בֶּן־אַבְרָהָ֑ם אַבְרָהָ֖ם הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־יִצְחָֽק׃
(19) These are the generations of Isaac, son of Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac.
In Genesis 6:9 and 25:19 the imperfect form of the word is used because it would not be until Ruth married Boaz that the (little ה) could descend

(4:18) is the second of two perfect words תוֹלְד֧וֹת spelled with two vav's in the entire Tanach
שַׁלְשֶׁ֓לֶת
Shalshelet is an incantation, a tune that emphasizes four letters on four different words highlighted below. It means chain, dynasty, progeny or generally a connected links. It emphasizes four events that occurred during which the progeny of Israel was established. In a way it tells the story how the archetype soul that descended through Ruth and Boaz was defended during its journey into the world.
(טז) וַֽיִּתְמַהְמָ֓הּ ׀ וַיַּחֲזִ֨קוּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֜ים בְּיָד֣וֹ וּבְיַד־אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ וּבְיַד֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י בְנֹתָ֔יו בְּחֶמְלַ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה עָלָ֑יו וַיֹּצִאֻ֥הוּ וַיַּנִּחֻ֖הוּ מִח֥וּץ לָעִֽיר׃
Lot delayed before his immediate family were rescued. Lot and his daughters survived in a remote cave. The daughters feared cessation of their blood line, so they engaged their semi-conscious father incestuously. From One daughter can Moab in whom the completed תוֹלְד֧וֹת toldot (soul) was revealed by Lot's descendent Ruth, a convert to Judaism who married Boaz and through whom the soul was unified.
(יב) וַיֹּאמַ֓ר ׀ יְהוָ֗ה אֱלֹהֵי֙ אֲדֹנִ֣י אַבְרָהָ֔ם הַקְרֵה־נָ֥א לְפָנַ֖י הַיּ֑וֹם וַעֲשֵׂה־חֶ֕סֶד עִ֖ם אֲדֹנִ֥י אַבְרָהָֽם׃
Eliezer paused, momentarily confronted by a choice that he be good a servant that fulfills his master, Abrahams request alternatively fail his mission to posit his daughter as Isaac's suitor. He chose the former, Rebecca became Isaac's wife, Eliezer had upheld the progeny and the completed תוֹלְד֧וֹת toldot (soul) was saved.
(ח) וַיְמָאֵ֓ן ׀ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אֵ֣שֶׁת אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֵ֣ן אֲדֹנִ֔י לֹא־יָדַ֥ע אִתִּ֖י מַה־בַּבָּ֑יִת וְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־יֶשׁ־ל֖וֹ נָתַ֥ן בְּיָדִֽי׃
(8) But he refused. He said to his master’s wife, “Look, with me here, my master gives no thought to anything in this house, and all that he owns he has placed in my hands.
Joseph rejected attempts by Potiphar's wife to seduce him. Instead he married her adopted daughter Oesnat. She was the daughter of Dinah through whom the house of Leah and Rachel were ultimately united. Finally the תוֹלְד֧וֹת toldot (soul) would be shielded by Joseph's actions and Jacob's extended family would flourish in Egypt.
(כג) וַיִּשְׁחָ֓ט ׀ וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ מִדָּמ֔וֹ וַיִּתֵּ֛ן עַל־תְּנ֥וּךְ אֹֽזֶן־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַיְמָנִ֑ית וְעַל־בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִֽית׃
(23) and it was slaughtered. Moses took some of its blood and put it on the ridge of Aaron’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
