Teach With Sefaria
A home for teachers on Sefaria, Teach with Sefaria is a place for discovering Sefaria’s potential in the classroom, connecting with other educators and learning to integrate Sefaria into your teaching.
Online Educator Course
Teaching with Sefaria: An Online Course for Educators is a self-paced, 8-session online course. The course demonstrates new ways that teachers and students might use Sefaria’s tools to teach and learn more creatively. Complete the registration form to receive your first lesson. Each week, a new lesson will be sent to you to complete at your own pace. Those who satisfactorily complete the assignments will receive Sefaria certification. Pedagogy Collection
Pedagogy on Sefaria: Exemplary Lesson Plans, curated by Sefaria's learning team, contains sample lessons that showcase innovative ways to leverage Sefaria's technology in the classroom. Our goal is to cultivate a constructivist approach to education in the Judaic studies classroom, and to explore the ways in which new digital tools can enhance learning.
Direct to the Students
The following collections contain ready-to-go activities for your students. Use them as-is or adapt them to fit your goals and content area.
- Sefaria's Student Course consists of three stand alone lessons and a teacher's guide. Lessons introduce the students to the Sefaria library, teach them how to find the perfect text on Sefaria, and how to create a sheet.
- Developing Independent Learning Skills is a series of activities written directly for the students. Each lesson develops a different set of independent learning skills.

Sefaria Educator Facebook Group
Join the over 400 educators on The Sefaria Classroom Facebook group. This group is designed to empower Jewish educators to most effectively and creatively use Sefaria in their learning environments and explore novel ways Sefaria can impact the way they teach. This is a wonderful place to keep the conversation going.
