(4) And He shall judge between the nations, And shall decide for many peoples; And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruninghooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war any more.
(16) And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah: ‘Hear the word of the LORD. (17) Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left, saith the LORD. (18) And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be officers in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ (19) Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah: ‘Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken.’ For he thought: ‘It means that safety is assured for my time.'
(10) And be built towers in the wilderness, and hewed out many cisterns, for he had much cattle; in the Lowland also, and in the table-land; and he had husbandmen and vinedressers in the mountains and in the fruitful fields; for he loved the ground.
