(12) And he said, “O LORD, God of my master Abraham, grant me good fortune this day, and deal graciously with my master Abraham:

Eliezer had a daughter and he was endeavouring to find some reason why Abraham should say that he must appeal to him (Eliezer) that he should marry his daughter (to Isaac).

(7) After a time, his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph and said, “Lie with me.” (8) But he refused. He said to his master’s wife, “Look, with me here, my master gives no thought to anything in this house, and all that he owns he has placed in my hands. (9) He wields no more authority in this house than I, and he has withheld nothing from me except yourself, since you are his wife. How then could I do this most wicked thing, and sin before God?”

(1) Ben Zoma said:Who is rich? He who rejoices in his lot,

THOU SHALT NOT COVET. Koheleth states, leave it for his portion (Eccles. 2:21)...He will not allow his heart to covet and desire anything which is not his. For he knows that that which God did not want to give him, he cannot acquire by his own strength, thoughts, or schemes. He will therefore trust in his creator, that is, that his creator will sustain him and do what is right in His sight.

(21) Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long will you keep hopping between two opinions?-c If the LORD is God, follow Him; and if Baal, follow him!” But the people answered him not a word.

One who was born under the influence of Mars will be one who spills blood. Rav Ashi said: He will be either a blood letter, or a thief, or a slaughterer of animals, or a circumciser. Rabba said: I was born under the influence of Mars and I do not perform any of those activities. Abaye said: My Master also punishes and kills as a judge.

(1) Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, all my being, His holy name. (13) As a father has compassion for his children,
so the LORD has compassion for those who fear Him. (14) For He knows how we are formed; He is mindful that we are dust.

It is impossible to find a 'platform' for the [human] spirit other than in the Divine atmosphere. Knowledge, feeling, imagination and desire, and their internal and external movements, all [serve to] distill the Human so that it will become more Godly. Thus they will find their fullest expression, a sense of equanimity, and peace of mind.
