Kislev- Rosh Chodesh
darkness is not dark for You;
night is as light as day;
darkness and light are the same.
You hedge me before and behind;
You lay Your hand upon me.
God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness.
§ The Gemara continues to discuss Creation: Rav Yehuda said that Rav said: Ten things were created on the first day of Creation, and they are as follows: Heaven and earth; tohu and vohu, i.e., unformed and void; light and darkness; wind and water; the length of day and the length of night.

Rav Ḥisda said: A dream not interpreted is like a letter not read. As long as it is not interpreted it cannot be fulfilled; the interpretation of a dream creates its meaning.
