Rededicating Ourselves to Torah
Chanukah is a celebration of rededication, and this Chanukah, Sefaria is having its own Chanukat HaBayit! Join us and inaugurate a new way to experience Sefaria, enjoy our newest Education Collection, and check out the many resources available to excite and engage learners of all ages.
  • The light of the Chanukah candles has deep significance in the Kabbalistic tradition. Get inspired with our Collection of Sheets, "Revealing the Hidden Light: Chanukah in the Kabbalistic and Chassidic Tradition," prepared by Rabbi Ami Silver, a scholar of Chasidut and Kabbalah. Great for both beginners and experienced learners, these Sheets will help you dig deep into the topic of light and its special significance on Chanukah.
  • Chanukah and American Thanksgiving are both opportunities for expressing gratitude. Thanksgiving on Sefaria is a Collection of activities suitable for the season of thanks.
  • Special early announcement for educators: We're asking for YOUR help to test one of Sefaria's newest learning experiences! From Monday November 29th through Thursday December 2nd, you can join Beit Midrash on Sefaria. With Beit Midrash, you can see who else is learning on Sefaria, what texts they're studying, send each other instant messages, find a chavruta, or just enjoy being in the company of Sefaria's vibrant learning community. Sign up here to experience the new Beit Midrash, and let us know what you think in our feedback survey!
Wishing you a Chanukah filled with light and gratitude.
