(4) Such is the story of heaven and earth when they were created. When the LORD God made earth and heaven—

Translators have struggled to give consistent and sufficient meaning to the summation found at the end of the Bible's six-day Genesis creation story. It contains too many allusions to secrets that are lost in any translation attempt.

The verse suggests heaven and earth were a preparation (עֲשׂ֛וֹת), but for what?

During the description of the preceding six days of creation the name אֱלֹהִ֖ים Elokim is mentioned 32 times. The name אֱלֹהִ֖ים Elokim is a concealment of The Name - יְהוָ֥ה Hashem and relates it to the physical world. Perhaps that's why אֱלֹהִ֖ים Elokim shares a numerical value, 86 with הטבע hateva - 'the nature' of creation. Kabbalah connotes 32 to the archetype soul structure that comprises 10 specific concealments, referred as vessels and 22 paths that connect them.

This verse arrives at the Bible's first use of יְהוָ֥ה Hashem, the ultimate transcendent Name connoting spiritual light. It suggests the creation of heaven and earth were a preparation for the special soul light, alluded in the (as written small) 'הִ' heh of the word בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם B'hibaram that would fill the created archetype soul vessels.

The word תוֹלְד֧וֹת toldot is rarely spelled in the completed form, with two vav's. The story of Isaac uses the incomplete form because only one of his two sons, Jacob would carry the Jewish soul lineage. The complete form appears one other time in 24 books of the Bible. In Ruth (4:18) during the story of Peretz meaning is conveyed more definitively as - 'generations' and begins to support that creation was indeed a preparation for generations of a soul root.

2048 years after creation three angels were dispatched to announce that Abram, at the age of 100 would finally have a son. Each of the angels Gabriel, Michael and Raphael were tasked with a single mission in sequence. One to inform Abram, one to destroy Sodom, one to rescue Abram's nephew Lot and his daughters from the wicked people of Sodom.

The letter 'heh', connoting breath was added to Abram when his name was changed to Abraham and the בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם B'hibaram soul root first descended. Letters of the word בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם B'hibaram can be rearranged to spell בְּ'אַבְרָהָ֔ם b'Abraham. The former arrangement can mean 'He created the heh', alluding to the root soul the latter rearrangement means 'in Abraham'.

From Abraham came Isaac, but with Isaac toldot was incomplete because only one of his two sons followed the Jewish path to messianic lineage. Therefore, use of the completed תוֹלְד֧וֹת toldot recurred only through Ruth, the convert who ascended through Moab and Lot. After Lot and his daughters were rescued by the angel from the destruction of Sodom, they were stranded in a remote cave. The daughters feared cessation of their blood line, so they engaged Lot in incestuous relations.

When the rescued soul emerged through Ruth would meet its soul counterpart the בְּהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ם B'hibaram journey would be expressed. That occurred through the lineage of Isaac, Jacob, Judah to Peretz, Boaz (with Ruth), Jesse and in David. In 2884 the messianic soul was recognized and crowned by the Jewish people.

Thus, the deeply spiritual purpose behind the events of physical creation are indelibly inked in the secrets of Torah often lost in translation.
