This week, we get a very special and rare note, the merkha kefulah. It only appears five times in the whole Torah, and this is the first time.
The מֵרְכָא כְּפוּלָה (merkha kefulah) always appears after a דַּרְגָא (darga).
Different people sing it in different ways, but it is a long note that moves around to a bunch of different sounds. Here is where it appears in our parashah:
...וַיַּגֶּשׁ־לוֹ֙ וַיֹּאכַ֔ל וַיָּ֧בֵא ל֦וֹ יַ֖יִן וַיֵּֽשְׁתְּ׃
He (Yaakov) brought [the food] close to him (Yitzhak) and he ate; he brought to him wine and he drank.
This is the intense moment when Yaakov is finally bringing Yitzhak food while disguised as his brother, Esav. The note is on the word לו (lo, to him). This food will seal the deal of him receiving the berakhah from his father, but Yitzhak is expecting to give the berakhah to Esav. It is a very tense moment and the note reminds us of that.
