רֶגַע שֶׁל עִבְרִית A Moment of Hebrew

וַיִּמָּֽסְרוּ֙ מֵאַלְפֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶ֖לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֑ה שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף חֲלוּצֵ֥י צָבָֽא׃
So a thousand from each tribe were handed over from the divisions of Israel, twelve thousand picked for the army campaign.
