אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ אֵל אֱלֹהֵי הָרוּחוֹת לְכָל-בָּשָׂר. תֵּן מְנוּחָה נְכוֹנָה עַל-כַּנְפֵי הַשְּׁכִינָה בְּמַעֲלוֹת קְדוֹשִים וּטְהוֹרִים כְּזֹהַר הָרָקִיעַ מַזְהִירִים אֶת-נִשְׁמוֹתֵיהֶם שֶׁל שֵׁשׁ מֵאוֹת רִבְבוֹת אַלְפֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנָשִׁים וְנָשִׁים יְלָדִים וִילָדוֹת שֶׁנֶּהֶרְגוּ וְשֶׁנִּטְבְּחוּ וְשֶׁנֶּחְנְקוּ וְשֶׁנִּקְבְּרוּ חַיִּים בִּידֵי מִפְלְצוֹת הַצּוֹרְרִים בְּגָלוּת אֵירוֹפָּה. כֻּלָּם קְדוֹשִׁים וּטְהוֹרִים. בָּהֶם גְּאוֹנִים וְצַדִּיקִים אַרְזֵי הַלְּבָנוֹן וְאַדִּירֵי הַתּוֹרָה. בְּגַן עֵדֶן תְּהֵא מְנוּחָתָם. לָכֵן בַּעַל הָרַחֲמִים יִצְרֹר בִּצְרוֹר הַחַיִּים אֶת-נִשְׁמוֹתָם ה' הוּא נַחֲלָתָם. וּזְכֹר לָנוּ עֲקֵדָתָם וְתַעֲמֹד לָנוּ וּלְכָל יִשְׂרָאֵל זְכוּתָם. אֶרֶץ אַל-תְּכַסִּי דָמָם וְאַל-יְהִי מָקוֹם לְזַעֲקָתָם. בִּזְכוּתָם נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָשׁוּבוּ לַאֲחֻזָּתָם וְהַקְּדוֹשִׁים לְזִכָּרוֹן תָּמִיד נֶגֶד עֵינֶיךָ צִדְקָתָם. יָבוֹאוּ שָׁלוֹם יָנוּחוּ עַל-מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם. וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן:

Yizkor 14

Our Father, our King, God of the spirits of all flesh, give proper rest upon the wings of the Divine Presence, on the levels of the holy and pure ones [who] shine like the splendor of the firmament, [for] the souls of the six million Jews, men and women, boys and girls, that were exterminated and slaughtered and asphyxiated and buried alive by the hands of monsters in the exile of Europe. All of them are holy and pure; among them were luminaries and righteous people, 'cedars of Lebanon' and giants of Torah. Let their rest be in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, Master of mercy, bind their souls with the bond of life. God is their inheritance. And remember for us their sacrifice and let their merit stand for us and for all of Israel. Let the earth not cover their blood and let there not be a place [sufficient] for their cries. In their merit, let the dispersed of Israel return to their possession; and let the holy ones be an everlasting memory - their righteousness in front of Your eyes. May they come to peace, [and] rest upon their places of repose. And let us say: Amen.

מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת חַיָּלֵי צְבָא הֲגַנָּה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל, הָעוֹמְדִים עַל מִשְׁמַר אַרְצֵנוּ וְעָרֵי אֱלהֵינוּ מִגְּבוּל הַלְּבָנוֹן וְעַד מִדְבַּר מִצְרַיִם וּמִן הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל עַד לְבוֹא הָעֲרָבָה בַּיַּבָּשָׁה בָּאֲוִיר וּבַיָּם. יִתֵּן ה' אֶת אוֹיְבֵינוּ הַקָּמִים עָלֵינוּ נִגָּפִים לִפְנֵיהֶם. הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא יִשְׁמֹר וְיַצִּיל אֶת חַיָלֵינוּ מִכָּל צָרָה וְצוּקָה וּמִכָּל נֶגַע וּמַחְלָה וְיִשְׁלַח בְּרָכָה וְהַצְלָחָה בְּכָל מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶם. יַדְבֵּר שׂוֹנְאֵינוּ תַּחְתֵּיהֶם וִיעַטְרֵם בְּכֶתֶר יְשׁוּעָה וּבְעֲטֶרֶת נִצָּחוֹן. וִיקֻיַּם בָּהֶם הַכָּתוּב: כִּי ה' אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַהֹלֵךְ עִמָּכֶם לְהִלָּחֵם לָכֶם עִם איבֵיכֶם לְהוֹשִׁיעַ אֶתְכֶם: וְנאמַר אָמֵן:

May the One who blessed our forefathers Avraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yaaqov, bless the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces,

who stand guard over our land and the cities of our elo’ah,

from the border of Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea to the Aravah,

on land, in the air, and on the sea. May Hashem cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the blessed Holy One preserve and rescue our soldiers from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may God send blessing and success in their every endeavor May [Hashem] cause our enemies to submit before our soldiers,

and grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: “For it is Hashem your elo’ah, who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you,” (Deuteronomy 20:4) and let us say, Amen.

"יוֹדוּ לַה' חַסְדּוֹ וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו לִבְנֵי אָדָם". וִיקֻיַּם בָּהֶם מִקְרָא שֶׁכָּתוּב: "וּפְדוּיֵי ה' יְשׁוּבוּן וּבָאוּ צִיּוֹן בְּרִנָּה וְשִׂמְחַת עוֹלָם עַל רֹאשָׁם. שָׂשׂוֹן וְשִׂמְחָה יַשִּׂיגוּ וְנָסוּ יָגוֹן וַאֲנָחָה" וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן.

(1) May He who blessed our fathers, Avraham, Yitschak and Yaakov, Moshe and Aharon, David and Shlomo, bless and protect and guard those who were abducted from the Israel Defence Forces and the hostages amongst our brethren the House of Israel who are placed in trouble and in captivity. For this congregation is praying on their behalf. May the Holy One, blessed be He, have compassion upon them and bring them out from darkness and the shadow of death. May He break their bonds, deliver them from distress, and bring them safely back to their families' embrace. "Give thanks to the Lord for His loving kindness and for the wonders He does for the children of men;" and may there be fulfilled in them the verse: "Those redeemed by the Lord will return; they will enter Zion with singing and everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighting will flee away." And let us say: Amen.

אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם, צוּר יִשְׂרָאֵל וְגוֹאֲלוֹ, בָּרֵךְ אֶת מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל, רֵאשִׁית צְמִיחַת גְּאֻלָּתֵנוּ. הָגֵן עָלֶיהָ בְּאֶבְרַת חַסְדֶּךָ, וּפְרֹשׂ עָלֶיהָ סֻכַּת שְׁלוֹמֶךָ, וּשְׁלַח אוֹרְךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ לְרָאשֶׁיהָ, שָׂרֶיהָ וְיוֹעֲצֶיהָ, וְתַקְּנֵם בְּעֵצָה טוֹבָה מִלְּפָנֶיךָ. חַזֵּק אֶת יְדֵי מְגִנֵּי אֶרֶץ קׇדְשֵׁנוּ, וְהַנְחִילֵם אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְשׁוּעָה וַעֲטֶרֶת נִצָּחוֹן תְּעַטְּרֵם, וְנָתַתָּ שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ, וְשִׂמְחַת עוֹלָם לְיוֹשְׁבֶיהָ. וְאֶת אַחֵינוּ כָּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל, פְּקׇד נָא בְּכָל אַרְצוֹת פְּזוּרֵיהֶם, וְתוֹלִיכֵם מְהֵרָה קוֹמְמִיּוּת לְצִיּוֹן עִירֶךָ וְלִירוּשָׁלַיִם מִשְׁכַּן שְׁמֶךָ, כַּכָּתוּב בְּתוֹרַת מֹשֶׁה עַבְדֶּךְ (דברים ל,ד-ו): "אִם יִהְיֶה נִדַּחֲךָ בִּקְצֵה הַשָּׁמָיִם, מִשָּׁם יְקַבֶּצְךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ וּמִשָּׁם יִקָּחֶךָ. וֶהֱבִיאֲךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יָרְשׁוּ אֲבֹתֶיךָ וִירִשְׁתָּהּ, וְהֵיטִבְךָ וְהִרְבְּךָ מֵאֲבֹתֶיךָ. וּמָל יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת לְבָבְךָ וְאֶת לְבַב זַרְעֶךָ, לְאַהֲבָה אֶת יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכׇל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכׇל נַפְשְׁךָ, לְמַעַן חַיֶּיךָ". וְיַחֵד לְבָבֵנוּ לְאַהֲבָה וּלְיִרְאָה אֶת שְׁמֶךָ, וְלִשְׁמֹר אֶת כׇּל דִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָתֶךָ, וּשְׁלַח לָנוּ מְהֵרָה בֶּן דָּוִד מְשִׁיחַ צִדְקֶךָ, לִפְדּוֹת מְחַכֵּי קֵץ יְשׁוּעָתֶךָ. הוֹפַע בַּהֲדַר גְּאוֹן עֻזֶּךָ עַל כׇּל יוֹשְׁבֵי תֵּבֵל אַרְצֶךָ, וְיֹאמַר כֹּל אֲשֶׁר נְשָׁמָה בְּאַפּוֹ: "יהוה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֶלֶךְ, וּמַלְכוּתוֹ בַּכֹּל מָשָׁלָה!" אָמֵן סֶלָה.

Our Father in Heaven, the Rock and Redeemer of Israel! Bless the State of Israel, the first sprouting of our redemption. Protect it with Your great kindness, spread over it the shelter of Your peace, grant Your light and truth to its leaders, ministers, and advisors, and provide them with Your good counsel. Strengthen the hands of the defenders of our Holy Land, bequeath deliverance to them, our God, crown them with the crown of victory, and give peace to the land and everlasting joy to its inhabitants. And remember all our brethren of the House of Israel, in all the lands of their dispersion, and bring them quickly to Zion, Your city, and to Jerusalem, the domicile of Your name, as it is written in the Torah of Moses, Your servant: Even if your outcasts are at the end of the heavens the Lord, your God, will gather you and take you from there. And the Lord, your God, will bring you to the land that Your forefathers inherited, and you shall inherit it, and He shall benefit you and make your numbers greater than your fathers. Then the Lord, your God, will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your offspring, to love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live (Deuteronomy 30:4-6). Unify our hearts to love and be awed by Your name, and to keep all the words of Your Torah, and may You dispatch the son of David, Your righteous Messiah, to us, to redeem those awaiting Your final salvation. Appear with the glory and pride of Your strength before all the inhabitants of Your world, and may all who have breath in them say, "The Lord, God of Israel, is the King, and His kingdom is over everything."
