(1) A prayer of David. Incline Your ear, O Lord, answer me, for I am poor and needy. (2) Preserve my life, for I am steadfast; O You, my God, deliver Your servant who trusts in You. (3) Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to You all day long; (4) bring joy to Your servant’s life, for on You, Lord, I set my hope. (5) For You, Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on You. (6) Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; heed my plea for mercy. (7) In my time of trouble I call You, for You will answer me. (8) There is none like You among the gods, O Lord, and there are no deeds like Yours. (9) All the nations You have made will come to bow down before You, O Lord, and they will pay honor to Your name. (10) For You are great and perform wonders; You alone are God. (11) Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; let my heart be undivided in reverence for Your name. (12) I will praise You, O Lord, my God, with all my heart and pay honor to Your name forever. (13) For Your steadfast love toward me is great; You have saved me from the depths of Sheol. (14) O God, arrogant men have risen against me; a band of ruthless men seek my life; they are not mindful of You. (15) But You, O Lord, are a God compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. (16) Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant Your strength to Your servant and deliver the son of Your maidservant. (17) Show me a sign of Your favor, that my enemies may see and be frustrated because You, O LORD, have given me aid and comfort.

(1) A song of praise. Of David. I will extol You, my God and king, and bless Your name forever and ever. (2) Every day will I bless You and praise Your name forever and ever. (3) Great is the LORD and much acclaimed; His greatness cannot be fathomed. (4) One generation shall laud Your works to another and declare Your mighty acts. (5) The glorious majesty of Your splendor and Your wondrous acts will I recite. (6) Men shall talk of the might of Your awesome deeds, and I will recount Your greatness. (7) They shall celebrate Your abundant goodness, and sing joyously of Your beneficence. (8) The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in kindness. (9) The LORD is good to all, and His mercy is upon all His works. (10) All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your faithful ones shall bless You. (11) They shall talk of the majesty of Your kingship, and speak of Your might, (12) to make His mighty acts known among men and the majestic glory of His kingship. (13) Your kingship is an eternal kingship; Your dominion is for all generations. (14) The LORD supports all who stumble, and makes all who are bent stand straight. (15) The eyes of all look to You expectantly, and You give them their food when it is due. (16) You give it openhandedly, feeding every creature to its heart’s content. (17) The LORD is beneficent in all His ways and faithful in all His works. (18) The LORD is near to all who call Him, to all who call Him with sincerity. (19) He fulfills the wishes of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and delivers them. (20) The LORD watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. (21) My mouth shall utter the praise of the LORD, and all creatures shall bless His holy name forever and ever.
(א) לָמָ֣ה יקוק תַּעֲמֹ֣ד בְּרָח֑וֹק תַּ֝עְלִ֗ים לְעִתּ֥וֹת בַּצָּרָֽה׃ (ב) בְּגַאֲוַ֣ת רָ֭שָׁע יִדְלַ֣ק עָנִ֑י יִתָּפְשׂ֓וּ ׀ בִּמְזִמּ֖וֹת ז֣וּ חָשָֽׁבוּ׃ (ג) כִּֽי־הִלֵּ֣ל רָ֭שָׁע עַל־תַּאֲוַ֣ת נַפְשׁ֑וֹ וּבֹצֵ֥עַ בֵּ֝רֵ֗ךְ נִ֘אֵ֥ץ ׀ יקוק (ד) רָשָׁ֗ע כְּגֹ֣בַהּ אַ֭פּוֹ בַּל־יִדְרֹ֑שׁ אֵ֥ין אֱ֝לֹקִ֗ים כָּל־מְזִמּוֹתָֽיו׃ (ה) יָ֘חִ֤ילוּ דרכו [דְרָכָ֨יו ׀] בְּכָל־עֵ֗ת מָר֣וֹם מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ מִנֶּגְדּ֑וֹ כָּל־צ֝וֹרְרָ֗יו יָפִ֥יחַ בָּהֶֽם׃ (ו) אָמַ֣ר בְּ֭לִבּוֹ בַּל־אֶמּ֑וֹט לְדֹ֥ר וָ֝דֹ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־בְרָֽע׃ (ז) אָלָ֤ה פִּ֣יהוּ מָ֭לֵא וּמִרְמ֣וֹת וָתֹ֑ךְ תַּ֥חַת לְ֝שׁוֹנ֗וֹ עָמָ֥ל וָאָֽוֶן׃ (ח) יֵשֵׁ֤ב ׀ בְּמַאְרַ֬ב חֲצֵרִ֗ים בַּֽ֭מִּסְתָּרִים יַהֲרֹ֣ג נָקִ֑י עֵ֝ינָ֗יו לְֽחֵלְכָ֥ה יִצְפֹּֽנוּ׃ (ט) יֶאֱרֹ֬ב בַּמִּסְתָּ֨ר ׀ כְּאַרְיֵ֬ה בְסֻכֹּ֗ה יֶ֭אֱרֹב לַחֲט֣וֹף עָנִ֑י יַחְטֹ֥ף עָ֝נִ֗י בְּמָשְׁכ֥וֹ בְרִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ (י) ודכה [יִדְכֶּ֥ה] יָשֹׁ֑חַ וְנָפַ֥ל בַּ֝עֲצוּמָ֗יו חלכאים [חֵ֣יל] [כָּאִֽים׃] (יא) אָמַ֣ר בְּ֭לִבּוֹ שָׁ֣כַֽח אֵ֑ל הִסְתִּ֥יר פָּ֝נָ֗יו בַּל־רָאָ֥ה לָנֶֽצַח׃ (יב) קוּמָ֤ה יקוק אֵ֭ל נְשָׂ֣א יָדֶ֑ךָ אַל־תִּשְׁכַּ֥ח עניים [עֲנָוִֽים׃] (יג) עַל־מֶ֤ה ׀ נִאֵ֖ץ רָשָׁ֥ע ׀ אֱלֹקִ֑ים אָמַ֥ר בְּ֝לִבּ֗וֹ לֹ֣א תִּדְרֹֽשׁ׃ (יד) רָאִ֡תָה כִּֽי־אַתָּ֤ה ׀ עָ֘מָ֤ל וָכַ֨עַס ׀ תַּבִּיט֮ לָתֵ֪ת בְּיָ֫דֶ֥ךָ עָ֭לֶיךָ יַעֲזֹ֣ב חֵלֶ֑כָה יָ֝ת֗וֹם אַתָּ֤ה ׀ הָיִ֬יתָ עוֹזֵֽר׃ (טו) שְׁ֭בֹר זְר֣וֹעַ רָשָׁ֑ע וָ֝רָ֗ע תִּֽדְרוֹשׁ־רִשְׁע֥וֹ בַל־תִּמְצָֽא׃ (טז) יקוק מֶ֭לֶךְ עוֹלָ֣ם וָעֶ֑ד אָבְד֥וּ ג֝וֹיִ֗ם מֵֽאַרְצֽוֹ׃ (יז) תַּאֲוַ֬ת עֲנָוִ֣ים שָׁמַ֣עְתָּ יקוק תָּכִ֥ין לִ֝בָּ֗ם תַּקְשִׁ֥יב אָזְנֶֽךָ׃ (יח) לִשְׁפֹּ֥ט יָת֗וֹם וָ֫דָ֥ךְ בַּל־יוֹסִ֥יף ע֑וֹד לַעֲרֹ֥ץ אֱ֝נ֗וֹשׁ מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
(1) Why, O LORD, do You stand aloof, heedless in times of trouble? (2) The wicked in his arrogance hounds the lowly— may they be caught in the schemes they devise! (3) The wicked crows about his unbridled lusts; the grasping man reviles and scorns the LORD. (4) The wicked, arrogant as he is, in all his scheming [thinks], “He does not call to account; God does not care.” (5) His ways prosper at all times; Your judgments are far beyond him; he snorts at all his foes. (6) He thinks, “I shall not be shaken, through all time never be in trouble.” (7) His mouth is full of oaths, deceit, and fraud; mischief and evil are under his tongue. (8) He lurks in outlying places; from a covert he slays the innocent; his eyes spy out the hapless. (9) He waits in a covert like a lion in his lair; waits to seize the lowly; he seizes the lowly as he pulls his net shut; (10) he stoops, he crouches, and the hapless fall prey to his might. (11) He thinks, “God is not mindful, He hides His face, He never looks.” (12) Rise, O LORD! Strike at him, O God! Do not forget the lowly. (13) Why should the wicked man scorn God, thinking You do not call to account? (14) You do look! You take note of mischief and vexation! To requite is in Your power. To You the hapless can entrust himself; You have ever been the orphan’s help. (15) O break the power of the wicked and evil man, so that when You look for his wickedness You will find it no more. (16) The LORD is king for ever and ever; the nations will perish from His land. (17) You will listen to the entreaty of the lowly, O LORD, You will make their hearts firm; You will incline Your ear (18) to champion the orphan and the downtrodden, that men who are of the earth tyrannize no more.
(א) יקוק מָלָךְ֮ גֵּא֪וּת לָ֫בֵ֥שׁ לָבֵ֣שׁ יקוק עֹ֣ז הִתְאַזָּ֑ר אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּ֝בֵ֗ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט׃ (ב) נָכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֲךָ֣ מֵאָ֑ז מֵֽעוֹלָ֣ם אָֽתָּה׃ (ג) נָשְׂא֤וּ נְהָר֨וֹת ׀ יקוק נָשְׂא֣וּ נְהָר֣וֹת קוֹלָ֑ם יִשְׂא֖וּ נְהָר֣וֹת דָּכְיָֽם׃ (ד) מִקֹּל֨וֹת ׀ מַ֤יִם רַבִּ֗ים אַדִּירִ֣ים מִשְׁבְּרֵי־יָ֑ם אַדִּ֖יר בַּמָּר֣וֹם יקוק (ה) עֵֽדֹתֶ֨יךָ ׀ נֶאֶמְנ֬וּ מְאֹ֗ד לְבֵיתְךָ֥ נַאֲוָה־קֹ֑דֶשׁ יקוק לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃
(1) The LORD became king, He is robed in grandeur; the LORD is robed, He is girded with strength. The world stands firm; it cannot be shaken. (2) Your throne stands firm from of old; from eternity You have existed. (3) The ocean sounds, O LORD, the ocean sounds its thunder, the ocean sounds its pounding. (4) Above the thunder of the mighty waters, more majestic than the breakers of the sea is the LORD, majestic on high. (5) Your decrees are indeed enduring; holiness befits Your house, O LORD, for all times.

(1) Sing to the LORD a new song, sing to the LORD, all the earth. (2) Sing to the LORD, bless His name, proclaim His victory day after day. (3) Tell of His glory among the nations, His wondrous deeds, among all peoples. (4) For the LORD is great and much acclaimed, He is held in awe by all divine beings. (5) All the gods of the peoples are mere idols, but the LORD made the heavens. (6) Glory and majesty are before Him; strength and splendor are in His temple. (7) Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (8) Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name, bring tribute and enter His courts. (9) Bow down to the LORD majestic in holiness; tremble in His presence, all the earth! (10) Declare among the nations, “The LORD became king!” the world stands firm; it cannot be shaken; He judges the peoples with equity. (11) Let the heavens rejoice and the earth exult; let the sea and all within it thunder, (12) the fields and everything in them exult; then shall all the trees of the forest shout for joy (13) at the presence of the LORD, for He is coming, for He is coming to rule the earth; He will rule the world justly, and its peoples in faithfulness.

(8) The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love. (9) He will not contend forever, or nurse His anger for all time. (1) For the leader. A psalm of David, (2) when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had come to Bathsheba. (3) Have mercy upon me, O God, as befits Your faithfulness; in keeping with Your abundant compassion, blot out my transgressions. (4) Wash me thoroughly of my iniquity, and purify me of my sin; (5) for I recognize my transgressions, and am ever conscious of my sin. (6) Against You alone have I sinned, and done what is evil in Your sight; so You are just in Your sentence, and right in Your judgment. (7) Indeed I was born with iniquity; with sin my mother conceived me. (8) Indeed You desire truth about that which is hidden; teach me wisdom about secret things. (4) (Bamidbar 27:12) "And the Lord said to Moses: Go up to this Mount Avarim": This is the inheritance of the children of Reuven. When Moses entered the (prospective) inheritance of the children of Reuven and the children of Gad, he rejoiced, thinking "It seems to me that He has revoked His decree" (against my entering Eretz Yisrael) — whereupon he poured out supplication before the King. An analogy: A king decreed against his son that he not enter the doors of his palace. He came to the gate and left it behind him; to the storage room, and left it behind him. As he was about to enter the inner chamber, he said to him "My son, from here on, you are forbidden." Likewise, when Moses entered the inheritance of the children of Gad and the children of Reuven, he rejoiced, thinking "It seems to me that He has revoked His decree," whereupon he began to pour out supplication before the L-rd. Now does this not follow a fortiori, viz.: If Moses, the great sage, the father of the sages and the father of the prophets, even though he knew that a decree had gone forth against him, did not keep himself [from asking for] mercy, how much more so should this hold true for other people!
(15) For so He said, High and Exalted, who forever dwells, whose name is holy: I dwell on high, in holiness; Yet with the contrite and the lowly in spirit— Reviving the spirits of the lowly, Reviving the hearts of the contrite.

The Holy One of Blessing is High and Exalted, His throne is [also] High and Exalted. And from where do we know that the Holy One of Blessing is called "High and Exalted"? From (Isa. 57:15) "This is what [Ad-nai] High and exalted said". And from whre do we know that even His throne is High and Exalted? From (Isa. 6:1) "And I saw my Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne" etc. The Holy One of Blessing is called Justice as it says "I, Ad-nai, am the Speaker of Justice" (Isa. 45:19) - and from where do we know that even His throne is called Justice? From "Justice and Judgment are the foundation of Your throne" (Ps. 89:15)
The Holy One of Blessing is called Judgment as it says "because a God of Judgment is Ad-nai" (Isa. 30:18) and even His throne is called Judgment, as it says "from there were sat thrones of Judgement (Ps. 122:5).
The Holy One of Blessing is called Truth as it says "Ad-nai is a God of Truth" (Jer. 10:10) and even His throne is called Truth, as it says "And he readied in Lovingkindness a throne, and sits there in Truth (Isa. 16:5).
The Holy One of Blessing is called Glory as it says "May the King of Glory enter" (Ps. 24:7) and even His throne is called Glory, as it says "A throne of Glory, high from the beginning" (Jer. 17:12). May the King of Glory come and sit on the Throne of Glory, in the Temple of Glory as it is said "and in His Temple everything says 'Glory!'" (Ps.29:9)
The Holy One of Blessing is called Holy as it says "Holy, holy Holy is Ad-nai Tzevaot, the whole earth is filled with His Glory" (Isa. 6:3) and even His throne is called Holy, as it says "God sat on His throne of Holiness (Ps. 47:9). May the King of Holiness come and sit on the Throne of Holiness, in the great secret of holy ones. - How many thrones the Holy One of Blessing has!
He has an Established throne, as it says "Your throne has been established ever since time" (Ps. 93:2). He has a throne of Justice and Judgment, as it says "Justice and Judgement are the foundation of Your throne" (Ps. 89:15). He has a throne of Lovingkindness, as it says "He readied in Lovingkindness a throne" (Isa. 16:5). He has a Throne of Yah, as it says "because there is a hand against the throne of Yah" (Ex. 17:16). He has a throne of Glory, as it says "a throne of Glory high from the beginning " (Jer. 17:12). He has a throne of Truth, as it says "He readied in Lovingkindness a throne and sits there in Truth" (Isa. 16:5). He has a Holy throne, as it says "God sat on his throne of Holiness"(Ps. 47:9). He has an eternal throne, as it says "Your throne, oh God is forever and ever"(Ps. 45:7). He has a throne of Mercy, as it says "To our Lord belongs Mercy and Forgivenesses" (Daniel 9:9). He has a throne of Sovereignty, as it says "and Sovereignty shall be Ad-nai's"(Obadiah 1:21). He has a High and Exalted throne, as it says "And I saw my Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne" (Isa. 6:1). May the High and Exalted King sit on the High and Exalted throne, blessed, and exalted, and higher than any blessing and praise.
