(ד) תִּקְע֣וּ בַחֹ֣דֶשׁ שׁוֹפָ֑ר בַּ֝כֵּ֗סֶה לְי֣וֹם חַגֵּֽנוּ׃ (ה) כִּ֤י חֹ֣ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל ה֑וּא מִ֝שְׁפָּ֗ט לֵאלֹקֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃
on the full moon for our feast day. (5) For it is a law for Israel,
a ruling of the God of Jacob;
(י) לֹא־יִהְיֶ֣ה בְ֭ךָ אֵ֣ל זָ֑ר וְלֹ֥א תִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה לְאֵ֣ל נֵכָֽר׃ (יא) אָֽנֹכִ֨י ׀ יי אֱלֹקֶ֗יךָ הַֽ֭מַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הַרְחֶב־פִּ֝֗יךָ וַאֲמַלְאֵֽהוּ׃
you shall not bow to an alien god. (11) I the LORD am your God
who brought you out of the land of Egypt;
open your mouth wide and I will fill it.
(17) He fed them the finest wheat;
I sated you with honey from the rock.
To feast on the yield of the earth;
Nursing them with honey from the crag,
And oil from the flinty rock,
(א) לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ ׀ עַֽל־הַגִּתִּ֬ית לְאָסָֽף׃ (ב) הַ֭רְנִינוּ לֵאלֹקִ֣ים עוּזֵּ֑נוּ הָ֝רִ֗יעוּ לֵאלֹקֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃ (ג) שְֽׂאוּ־זִ֭מְרָה וּתְנוּ־תֹ֑ף כִּנּ֖וֹר נָעִ֣ים עִם־נָֽבֶל׃ (ד) תִּקְע֣וּ בַחֹ֣דֶשׁ שׁוֹפָ֑ר בַּ֝כֵּ֗סֶה לְי֣וֹם חַגֵּֽנוּ׃ (ה) כִּ֤י חֹ֣ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל ה֑וּא מִ֝שְׁפָּ֗ט לֵאלֹקֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃ (ו) עֵד֤וּת ׀ בִּיה֘וֹסֵ֤ף שָׂמ֗וֹ בְּ֭צֵאתוֹ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם שְׂפַ֖ת לֹא־יָדַ֣עְתִּי אֶשְׁמָֽע׃ (ז) הֲסִיר֣וֹתִי מִסֵּ֣בֶל שִׁכְמ֑וֹ כַּ֝פָּ֗יו מִדּ֥וּד תַּעֲבֹֽרְנָה׃ (ח) בַּצָּרָ֥ה קָרָ֗אתָ וָאֲחַ֫לְּצֶ֥ךָּ אֶ֭עֶנְךָ בְּסֵ֣תֶר רַ֑עַם אֶבְחׇנְךָ֨ עַל־מֵ֖י מְרִיבָ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃ (ט) שְׁמַ֣ע עַ֭מִּי וְאָעִ֣ידָה בָּ֑ךְ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל אִם־תִּֽשְׁמַֽע־לִֽי׃ (י) לֹא־יִהְיֶ֣ה בְ֭ךָ אֵ֣ל זָ֑ר וְלֹ֥א תִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה לְאֵ֣ל נֵכָֽר׃ (יא) אָֽנֹכִ֨י ׀ יי אֱלֹקֶ֗יךָ הַֽ֭מַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הַרְחֶב־פִּ֝֗יךָ וַאֲמַלְאֵֽהוּ׃ (יב) וְלֹֽא־שָׁמַ֣ע עַמִּ֣י לְקוֹלִ֑י וְ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֹא־אָ֥בָה לִֽי׃ (יג) וָ֭אֲשַׁלְּחֵהוּ בִּשְׁרִיר֣וּת לִבָּ֑ם יֵ֝לְכ֗וּ בְּֽמוֹעֲצ֖וֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ (יד) ל֗וּ עַ֭מִּי שֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ לִ֑י יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל בִּדְרָכַ֥י יְהַלֵּֽכוּ׃ (טו) כִּ֭מְעַט אוֹיְבֵיהֶ֣ם אַכְנִ֑יעַ וְעַ֥ל צָ֝רֵיהֶ֗ם אָשִׁ֥יב יָדִֽי׃ (טז) מְשַׂנְאֵ֣י יי יְכַחֲשׁוּ־ל֑וֹ וִיהִ֖י עִתָּ֣ם לְעוֹלָֽם׃ (יז) וַֽ֭יַּאֲכִילֵהוּ מֵחֵ֣לֶב חִטָּ֑ה וּ֝מִצּ֗וּר דְּבַ֣שׁ אַשְׂבִּיעֶֽךָ׃ {פ}
(1) For the lead player, on the gittith, for Asaph. (2) Sing gladly to God our strength;
shout out to the God of Jacob. (3) Lift your voices in song and beat the drum, the lyre is sweet with the lute. (4) Blast the ram’s horn on the new moon,
When the moon starts to wax, for our festival day. (5) For it is an ordinance in Israel,
a rule of the God of Jacob; (6) A decree He declared it for Israel when He sallied forth against Egypt’s land; a language I knew not, I heard.
[God says:]
(7) “I delivered his shoulder from the burden,
his palms were loosed from the hod. (8) From the straights you called and I set you free;
I answered you from thunder’s hiding place.
I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
(9) Hear, O my people, that I may adjure you;
Israel, if you would but hear Me. (10) There shall be among you no foreign god, and
you shall not bow to an alien god. (11) I am the LORD your God
Who brings you up from the land of Egypt;
open your mouth wide, that I may fill it.
(12) But My people did not heed my voice and Israel wanted nothing of Me. (13) And I let them follow their heart’s willfulness, and went by their own counsels. (14) If My people would but heed Me,
if Israel would go in My ways, (15) in a moment I would humble their enemies, and against their foes I would turn My hand.
(16) Those who hate the LORD would cring before Him; and their time of doom would be everlasting. (17) And I would feed him the finest wheat; And from the rock I would sate him with honey.”
