You mention that a certain man in one of the cities of Yemen pretends that he is the Messiah. As I live, I am not surprised at him or at his followers, for I have no doubt that he is mad and a sick person should not be rebuked or reproved for an illness brought on by no fault of his own. Neither am I surprised at his votaries, for they were persuaded by him because of their sorry plight, their ignorance of the importance and high rank of the Messiah, and their mistaken comparison of the Messiah with the son of the Mahdi [the belief in] whose rise they are witnessing. But I am astonished that you, a scholar who has studied carefully the doctrines of the rabbis, are inclined to repose faith in him. Do you not know, my brother, that the Messiah is a very eminent prophet, more illustrious than all the prophets after Moses?

You know that the Christians falsely ascribe marvelous powers to Jesus the Nazarene, may his bones be ground to dust, such as the resurrection of the dead and other miracles. Even if we would grant them for the sake of argument, we should not be convinced by their reasoning that Jesus is the Messiah. For we can bring a thousand proofs or so from the Scripture that it is not so even from their point of view. Indeed, will anyone arrogate this rank to himself unless he wishes to make himself a laughing stock?
Solomon, of blessed memory, inspired by the holy spirit, foresaw that the prolonged duration of the exile would incite some of our people to seek to terminate it before the appointed time, and as a consequence they would perish or meet with disaster. Therefore he admonished and adjured them in metaphorical language to desist, as we read, "I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and by the hinds of the field, that ye awaken not, nor stir up love, until it please." (Song of Songs 2:7, 8:4). Now, brethren and friends, abide by the oath, and stir not up love until it please (Ketubot 111a).
I beg you to send a copy of this missive to every community in the cities and hamlets, in order to strengthen the people in their faith and to put them on their feet. Read it at public gatherings and in private, and you will thus become a public benefactor. Take adequate precautions lest its contents be divulged to the Gentiles by an evil person and mishap overtake us (God spare us therefrom). When I began writing this letter I had some misgivings about it, but they were overruled by my conviction that the public welfare takes precedence over one's personal safety. Moreover, I am sending it to a personage such as you, "and the secret of the Lord may be entrusted to those who fear Him." Our sages, the successors of the prophets, assured us that persons engaged in a religious mission will meet with no disaster (Pesahim 8b). What more important religious mission is there than this. Peace be unto all Israel. Amen.

And there is no one who is paying attention that through all the Zionist sects who drew the hearts of our Jewish people, and they broke the oat against "Pushing for the Ketz" (the End of Days), to take a kingdom, and freedom, before the time - because of that were killed R"L (May the Merciful One Save Us) six million Jews. Besides that, there is true evidence on several cruel actions that they did, which in turn resulted in this horrible calamity. From Hungary is was clear that they did some of these actions, and the same from the court case that happened in the Land of Israel (the Kastner Trials). ...
I don't want to elaborate more on this here, as my goal with this book is only to clarify the Halacha (against Zionism), and I am only writing the above to show that it is cleat that only this impure idea of founding a Jewish State before the time, is what brough all this pain and suffering that we experienced, and that's besides the tens of thousands of Jews that are being killed through their unjust and illegal wars.
The same thing with all those Jews who made Aliyah to Eretz Yisroel from the Arab countries, that before that they were living peacefully and quietly in their lands, and they were not lacking anything, until the foundation of the Heretical State that is in Israel. For through the foundation of the state they experienced hate and persecutions on their lands, and even the Zionists themselves helped them (the Arab Nations) to amplify their persecution of the local Jews, till the Arab Jews had no choice but to leave their homes naked and destitute from all their belonging. Then, the Zionists came and claimed to be the saviors, even though the opposite is true, and they, the Zionists, are the ones who caused all the destruction to begin with.
There is quite a lot of intensity in this text, and neither I, not I would expect any of you, agree with everything it says. However, I wanted us to read all of this for a few reasons:
- First and foremost, this is clear evidence, as clear as day, that religious anti-Zionism was never purely religiou. It always included a political and justice element, one a lot of us can relate to. The Satmar Rebbe, the flag bearer of "mainstream" Hasidic anti-Zionism outside of Naturei Karta, also believed that on a human and political level, Zionism is harmful to Jews and Judaism.
- This is the kind of comments that would be considered antisemitism by IHRA "definition" of antisemitism. Zionists are quick to try to separate religious anti-Zionism from justice based anti-Zionism, and claim that blaming Israel, etc.,... is indeed anti-Zionism.

המהרש"א: ודאי דרשות לכל אחד מישראל לעלות לארץ ישראל, אלא שלא יעלו ביחד ביד חזקה, ולבנות להם חומות ירושלים. ונחמיה אמר:"לכו ונבנה את חומת ירושלים ולא נהיה עוד חרפה" ברשות המלך היה.
Of course every Israelite is required to move to Israel, but they should not do it together and with force, and build for themselves the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemia said "Lets go build the walls of Jerusalem..." with permission from the King.

The Rebbe of Munkács (1872-1937), Rabbi Hayyim Eleazar Shapira viewed Zionism as Satan, and changed the meaning of the pasuk below to say, "May the Lord rebuke you, o Satan who chooses Jerusalem." He also quoted Devarim 32:17 as referring to 'those who seek to force zion to submit to them and make it the center of their sacrilegious enterprise.'
(יב) כִּ֣י תָבֹ֔אוּ לֵרָא֖וֹת פָּנָ֑י מִי־בִקֵּ֥שׁ זֹ֛את מִיֶּדְכֶ֖ם רְמֹ֥ס חֲצֵרָֽי׃
(12) That you come to appear before Me— Who asked that of you? Trample My courts
The Munkaczer Rebbe believed that the land was reserved for 'righteous zealots' who were prepared to live a fully religious and spiritually-aligned life, and not secular Jews that were working the land. The land was designed solely for prayer and spiritual activity. He said, "For those who travel to the Holy Land for worldly purposes, rather than to study Torah and to worship G-d, place themselves in the 'company of the insolent' (ps. 1:1). It is written of such persons: 'But you came and defiled My land.' (Jer. 2:7) ".. We must follow in the footsteps of our old rabbis and forefathers, by supporting only those residents of the land who devote themselves to the study of Torah and the worship of G-d.... [Indeed] the evil forces have become stronger in our Holy Land and they undermine its very foundation through their plowshares and agricultural colonies." Thus, the Holy Land sustains its holiness during the period of exil only by denying its materiality.
