Laban

Laban is a biblical character who features in the Book of Genesis. He is the brother of Rebecca, father of Rachel and Leah, and father-in-law of Jacob. His actions are marked by trickery, as he deceptively marries Leah off to Jacob rather than Rachel, and later mistreats Jacob as an employee.
